Balsanskar

Children are the future of the world, and the pride of their parents. Children have immense potential and capabilities to grasp whatever they observe around them. Values and habits taught to them during their early childhood eventually form the basis of their future life.

Our volunteers at GMUKPT are pleased to support ‘Balsanskar’ activity for children with a vision to:

  • Impart good values and behaviour
  • Encourage and nurture their inherent talents
  • Help them gain knowledge and understand rich Hindu culture and heritage
  • Inspire them to own spiritual development
  • Enhance their confidence and communication/presentation skills
  • Enable them to read and write Marathi language
Balsanskar sessions are conducted twice a month, on first and third Fridays of every month at 6:00 pm.

Considering the mode of living, attitude towards life and spiritual level of an average person, rather than sticking to rigid traditional ways of teaching; the sessions are fine tuned to serve the basic purpose effectively.

Children are taught through easy interactive lessons in a playful manner, using simple language; involving creative activities, games, quizzes, stories, inspirations from saints like Gajanan Maharaj or heroes like Shivaji Maharaj or nobles ones like Ram or Shravan Kumar

Children are also taught to read and write Marathi which is one of the official languages of Western India.
